Yulia Tymoshenko is the charismatic 50 year old billionaire and former prime minister of Ukraine.

She is currently on trial for abusing her powers while holding the seat of prime minister.  The trial certainly has had its share of chaos.  Tymoshenko does not stand up when addressing the court as she uses the tactic of mocking the court and has resorted to name calling toward the judge of the trial.

Tymoshenko was one of the leading figures of the Orange Revolution in 2004 that brought her to power.  However there was much bickering with then president Viktor Yushchenko once the two were in power.

Although she lost power in elections in 2010, Tymoshenko still enjoys a base of wide support.

The trial against her has become farcical and circus like, with the 31 year old judge resembling an inexperienced figurehead unable to maintain control, as police officers have refused the judge’s order on occasion to escort ministers out of the courtroom on the judge’s demands.
